Tuskbond G500 will bond a wide variety of substrates including carpet, underlay and other flooring materials to suitable subfloors including flooring grade plywood, OSB board, hardboard, ceramic, concrete and existing non-cushioned backed resilient floors (this must be well bonded and free from any surface contaminants such as wax, polish, cleaners, etc). G500 is ideal where permanent bonds that require good initial bond strength are needed. It has excellent initial grab, a long open time and dries to a tack-free film which helps to prevent unwanted transfer of adhesive. The high solids content of the adhesive reduces the risk of under-applying.
LIMITATIONS
Not suitable for use on flexible PVC and vinyls due to the risk of plasticiser migration.
