BAM 997 is a high performance general purpose woodworking hot melt from Beardow Adams. It combines high heat resistance with good low temperature performance, and gives high levels of adhesion to most commercially available edgings including PVC, HPL and solid wood lippings.
BAM 997 can be used for edgebanding, softforming and precoating, and is suitable for use on most types of industrial edgebanders, e.g. Homag, IMA, etc
Suggested application temperature is 190°C to 220°C depending upon the substrates to be bonded. However if the machine is to be standing for a long period without use, it is recommended that the pot temperature is reduced to below 150°C
