BAM 366 has a very light colour and appears colourless as a compressed bead. Combined with
its low odour, the adhesive is ideal for food packaging applications. It has a high molten tack and versatile adhesion to the plastics and plastic coated materials that are frequently used for wrapping or packing food products, especially chilled and dairy products where it has been successfully used for deep freeze applications down to -40°C.
The high hot tack of BAM 366 makes it ideal for ream wrapping. Laboratory tests have shown its heat
resistance to be in excess of 70°C.
BAM 366 is a very pale coloured, high speed hot melt adhesive formulated to give excellent adhesion on a wide variety of ‘difficult’ surfaces. It is also flexible and performs well at low ambient temperatures. It is ideally suited to bag, carton and case sealing and applications such as straw attachment and ream wrapping.
Application is commonly by jet, wheel or dauber. Suggested running temperature is 150°C to 170°C, depending on machine settings and substrates to be bonded.
