Jelly Tape (aka toffee tape, aka snot tape) is a flexible, rubber based hot melt adhesive on a roll. The adhesive strip has a very aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive and high initial tack and remains permanently flexible. The product is solvent-free and moisture resistant and makes a clean and easy to use alternative to brush on adhesives.
It can be used for a multitude of applications, including but not limited to..
Fixing lightweight wall panels.
Bonding insulation to walls.
Fixing of floor materials (carpets, threshold strips, etc).
Joining of plastic sheeting used for temporary protection (e.g. during asbestos removal).
Joining of plastic sheeting used in agriculture (e.g. silage protection / grow houses)
Joining plastic vapour barriers in roof construction.
Fixing interior padding to crash helmets.
Bonding pond liners together to form waterproof seals.
Fixing carpets and trims in various forms of transport.
Bonding stitch protection strips to the straps of bulk storage sacks.
Bonding inserts into spectacle cases.
Trim and fabric fixing in furniture assembly.
Roll length is 20 metres. Adhesive is 1mm thick, Rolls are available in 12mm and 19mm widths.
